What We Do

About Us.

In 2001 we started our sheep adventures. With 6 ewes to start with, we grew over the years to over 200 head. We built a dairy and marketed our lamb and sheep cheese all over Southern Idaho. We sold that farm to our son and daughter-in-law in 2020 and stumbled across an incredible 6.5 acre historic site near Mountain Home, Idaho. Now we can relax and enjoy the farming lifestyle with a lot less work! Laura had always dreamed of owning a sheep camp wagon so she had one custom built by Kim and Kathy Vader of Idaho Sheep Camp, whom she had met when she had pulled their camps with her Belgian horses in The Trailing of the Sheep parades in Ketchum, Idaho. Now that farm work has slowed down Laura has been apprenticing with the Vader’s to learn the craftsmanship needed to build her own camps. The first camp she started working on her own is a “Home On The Range” camp found in Lander, Wyoming. It took a full year to refurbish, but was completed in August 2022. Look for it at the Glenrock Sheepherder’s Rendezvous in Glenrock, Wyoming, August 26-28, 2022. Once we get back from there, we will be starting a new build using reclaimed lumber from an old seed company warehouse in Gooding, Idaho.
